McDonald’s Marathon, How do you prepare for a marathon? For a man from Illinois who does not eat anything but McDonald’s meals for a month. A feature on the New York Daily News shared a blueprint is unlikely such an activity related to health: a marathon. For 36 years, Joe D’Amico Palatine, Illinois, however, the unusual pattern was triggered by the desire to help a good cause: to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House, which provides housing for families of sick children and therefore we assume that the diet of McDonald’s.

D’Amico is to document the preparations for the marathon in Los Angeles on the site www.mcrunner.com. Its rules, such as eating only McDonald’s, an intense workout, stay married, and have fun. His goal is to finish the marathon in less than 2 hours and 36 minutes.

Its diet of McDonald’s for Wednesday include:

Breakfast: half a bagel, egg of an Egg McMuffin, three rolls with syrup and a little orange juice

Lunch: Filet-O-Fish, a quarter of a packet of French-fries medium, a salad, a medium coke and two oatmeal cookies

Dinner: a return to the breakfast menu, including five buns and chocolate syrup

D’Amico ran in 14 marathons since, and he plans to donate $ 1 for all fans of the Facebook page McRunner. D’Amico shared: “I like McDonald’s and I love running, and it was a great way to combine the two.”

Contrary to the opinion of most experts – who say that people should stay away from fast food fare – D’Amico shared: “Life’s about choices. And even in a place where you have a limited menu as McDonald’s there are good choices to have, and I make the choice today … I feel good, and I’m running strong. ”
