Jewel, Reality TV star and singer / songwriter / Jewel, two months pregnant, was lucky to survive a horrific crash of two vehicles in Texas. The accident occurred Friday afternoon in Stephenville, Texas, a fire truck struck the passenger side of her car.
Jewel representative said in a statement, “The singer was taken to hospital and medical examinations being carried out indicate that she and the baby are doing well.”
Jewel is married Ty Murray, a world champion nine times pro rodeo cowboy who appeared with her on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”, the couple lives in Texas.
Murray and Jewel have been expressed in the eighth season of “Dancing” until an injury sidelined Jewel, and she was unable to perform. Her husband was in fourth place with pro dancer Chelsie Hightower.
Jewel will be visible on Seres new Bravo reality show, “Going Platinum,” a new reality competition for songwriters.
With Kara DioGuardi, Jewel will serve on the jury.

The “Foolish Games” singer, who revealed two months ago that she was pregnant with her first child, were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where tests revealed both mother and baby are doing well.
“Hi everybody, just out of the ER and my Dr’s office-hopefully-me & the baby r ok-thanx all your thoughts & prayers,” Jewel wrote on her Twitter account party official Friday.
“Dr. says no work-out then I’ll go easy this weekend. Just a little sore and banged up, but feeling happy this morning,” she twittered that followed early Saturday morning (March).
Pictures of the accident show a severely bruised and almost destroyed Cadillac SRX, the nose of the fire truck still stuck in the car chassis of money. The singer credits the car with the fact that she survived.
“1 thing I know is my car saved my life baby & will certainly have another 2 Cadillac SRX! She tweeted. “its absorbed all the damage & kept me safe!”
