Dyslexia is a term used in medical field for many nerves disorder that causes learning disability. The victim of this disease feels problems with reading and writing than that of the normal individual who do not suffer from the Dyslexia.

The symptoms of this disease appear in pre-school children. Child affected with this disease has the symptom like delayed speech, lack of crawling, problem with learning new words etc. As these children have learning problems, many of them lag behind in their studies and it is best for them to find something other than academics like sports etc to progress in life. This disorder was recognized in 1881 by Oswald Berkhan and named accordingly. The word dyslexia comes from Greek meaning inability to learn.

Today, many medical institutions are given grants and fund to research how and why this disability inflicts human beings. Feature films, television and literature are covering this topic to educate people about the disability, to ensure that the disabled are saved from all sorts of harrasment and bullying.

There is no medication or treatment for this condition. As its symptoms and signs vary greatly among individuals, it is not possible to develop a drug that will help everyone with this condition. The best way to deal with it is to accept the condition and try to look for other things that the affected individuals can take up in order to move forward with their lives.

An excellent option is to involve them in sports or art to bring out their creative abilities. It is important to know that accomplished dyslexics can read and write without any difficulty but they do it at a rate slower than most normal individuals. Therefore, human beings can accomplish any thing that they put their mind to. Not any difficulty or disability can hinder that.
