Dancing with the starts is a world wide phenomenon for people who are themselves dancers or just like to enjoy watching dances. This began in the United Kingdom, when British Broadcasting Corporation when they aired the program Strictly come dancing. Today, thirty two countries around the globe has attained the licence to air programs on similar format.
One of the basic reasons behind the success of this program is that the competition has many celebrity competitors who are paired with a dance professional and they have one week to practice and master a dance routine. All teams then perform and are judged by a panel based on their moves, routine and synchronity with the partner.
This concept was new and it spread around the world like fire and eventually reached the United States of America. The American adaptation of Strictly come dancing is Dancing with the stars. This show premiered on ABC in the United States in 2005 and till today, twelve seasons have been released.
