Republic of Rwanda is a country in the continent of Africa surrounded by Uganda to the north, Tanzania to the east, Burundi to the south, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The city that has been named capital of this country is Kigali.

There are many different mountains, lakes and other beautiful areas in the country. This country has the highest population density in all of Africa. The people of Rwandans belong to either one of three tribes the Hutus, Tutsis and Twas. Therefore the country has a rich culture and old history and civilization.

Rawanda is a country that has gone through many tragic events. The lastest was a genocide in 1994, and the economy of the country was destroyed in that. The people however are hard working therefore, it is strengthening today. The country does not have many natural resources and the economy is based on what the agriculture brings in.

Tea and coffee are among the cash crops of the country. Due to its natural beauty in the form of thick jungles and mountains, tourism is a growing sector and a major earner when it comes to foreign exchange. The country has a rich culture and music and dance are integral components of this culture.

The highly choreographed African traditional dance of this region is a main attraction for many people around the globe. Presidential form of government has been adopted by the state and the government today is working hard to uplift the conditions of the people around the country. Government provides free education for children till grade nine but many people of the country are still not able to take advantage of this facility. Not only that, the government is working hard to provide proper health care facilities to all those who need it.
