Google logo plays guitar chords to celebrate the birthday of Les Paul

Google has had some pretty cool logos before, but this one is at top of the list.

Today's Google logo presents a playable guitar!

It is to pay homage to Les Paul on his 96th birthday. He was the founder of the electric guitar and died in 2009.

The interactive guitar on the Google homepage has strings that make guitar sounds whenever you mouse over. The most interesting thing about it is that you can even record a 30-second song if you'd like. After you finish recording your melody, the page will provide you with a URL so you can listen and share your creativity.
