Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed their new born twin babies, baby son and daughter today – on their third birthday no less! April 30 was quite the day for the family!
The legendary singer gave birth the babies just after noon today in Los Angeles.
Carey’s rep, Cindi Berger, told the baby girl born first, weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz., and was 18 inches and her brother was next, at 5 lbs. 6 oz., and was 19 inches.
“I’m not trying to be telepathic, but we refurbish our promises every year so … It’s probably going to be in the hospital this year. I can sense it,” he said Thursday.
“The minister’s coming. This gown won’t be a wedding gown, but a hospital gown.”
Carey’s rep tells People “she’s doing great” and that the whole family were paying attention to Carey’s “We Belong Together” after the children were born.
Those two kids are gonna have some wonderful lullabies growing up. Just saying.
Long before the births, the couple made no secret of their need to have children. Nor did they shy away from revealing pregnancy photos.
