Tiki Barber

Tiki Barber is un-retiring. “Barber has alerted the NFL that he plans to come out of retirement and play in the 2011 season.” Perhaps this is some sort of negotiating ploy by either the owners or players association.

The former New York Giants running back's agent, Mark Lepselter, tweeted that his client "has filed the papers with the NFL to officially come out of retirement."

The 36-year-old Barber hasn’t played in the NFL since 2006 but he’s made plenty of headlines due to his bad behavior. In April 2010, Tiki left his wife, who was pregnant with twins, for 23-year-old Traci Lynn Johnson but then NBC ditched Tiki!

After Barber left his pregnant wife and their kids, NBC booted the former NFL star because of a morals clause. Barber was earning over $300,000 per year for his on air position with the network. As of last summer, Barber claimed he was broke and could not pay his divorce settlement with his ex-wife.

According to Mike Floria of ProFootballTalk, Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon said the team still holds the rights to Barber, who still has time left on his contract.
