Rob Lowe

Rob Lowe, Chuck Lorre, the creator of "Two And A Half Men" had a meeting about producing "Two and a half men" without Charlie Sheen. Chuck's people wanted to replace Charlie with Rob Lowe TMZ reported.

Production of the biggest show"Two and a half men" has halted for the season, though the crew members are getting paid for four episodes they are not actually shooting.

But what about next year? Will the Eye try to keep it on the air with a new lead actor opposite Jon Cryer? It looks like the producers are at least trying to feel it out. People is reporting that producers are in talks with Rob Lowe to join the sitcom.

Lowe joined NBC's "Parks and Recreation" as a series regular this season, but "Parks and Rec's" ratings are never through the roof and NBC often does not seem to know what to do with it. A jump to the most-watched comedy on TV would not be a bad move for Lowe, although creatively we think he is getting to do really great stuff on "Parks."
