JFK, The U.S President

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, known commonly by his initials, is the thirty fifth president of the United States of America who is famous because of a conspiracy theory that led to his assassination during his presidential reign. Today, after approximately fifty years have pass by and no one has a clue as to why this president was killed.

He was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald but the killer was also killed by another man by the name of Jack Ruby. A feature of President Kennedy that makes him different from many others and stand out was his age at the time he became the president of the country. He is the youngest President ever elected to the office.

JFK was born on May 19th, 1917 in the famous and prominent Kennedy family. He excelled at school and was voted in his year book as the most likely to succeed. He joined Harvard College and graduated with honors. For his thesis, his work was on international appeasement.

He published it as Why England Slept, and this book became an instant bestseller. He joined the United States Navy in 1941 ans served for four years. JFK was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1945. After that began his political career. He ran for a seat in the US senate and won in 1952. A year after that he married Jacqueline.

He had a playboy reputation from the beginning owing to his good looks and charismatic personality and he was tied in a hyped affair with the then famous Marilyn Monroe. The Kennedy family has been the focus of attention of many people and the plot behind the assassination of president JFK still remains a mystery. He is considered among the top ranking presidents and his grave is lit with an eternal flame in his remembrance.
