Elizabeth Banks is an American actress and upcoming Hollywood star. Born on February 10th, in the year 1974 into a middle class family in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She started school there and excelled in her studies, graduating with honors in 1991. She then joined University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 1996.
She completed her masters in fine arts from American Conservatory Theater. The debut of her career was in an independent film Surrender Dorothy and after that she has appeared in many films and gained a lot of exposure and a name for herself in the industry. She has made many television appearances too and is gained tremendous popularity for her role in the hit series Scrubs, where she plays the girlfriend of the main character John Dorian, and they also have a child together.
She started in Scrubs during its fifth season and appeared recurrently in the next three. She also started in the popular hit series on television, 30 Rock as the love interest of Jack Donaghy. It was announced that she would work in only four episodes but due to her superb acting, professionalism and her adjusting in synchronity with the team, she worked in nine episodes and her work is highly appreciated by all in the team.
She has also worked in many blockbusters like Spiderman 2, The 40 year old virgin, The uninvited and Definitely, maybe.
