Catherine Zeta-Jones, (CP) – Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones received a royal honor from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. Swansea, Wales-born actress became Commander of the Order of the British Empire at a ceremony on Thursday, where her husband, Michael Douglas and their two children Dylan and Carys, accompanied her.

Zeta-Jones, 41, said she was “very emotional and a little nervous” to receive this honor, which was awarded for her services to the film industry and her charitable efforts.

She said “it was worth (it) that Michael healthy to be able to enjoy it with me.”

Douglas was the fight against throat cancer.

Zeta-Jones said Prince Charles expressed his sympathy and that he was “glad to hear that” Douglas was convalescing.
