AKO Webmail Down-Www.us.army.mil – AKO, Army Knowledge Online, and its webmail service have been down for many throughout the day. The news quickly spread through Twitter, as well as on Facebook, that the webmail server was down. Users reported that they were having trouble accessing their email, and also that they were receiving errors throughout the day.

The main error that has been reported so far is the typical 500 server error. This error suggests that there might be something wrong with the server, but is a fairly typical error that can blanket a number of different problems.
