As always, the lineups for the celebrity-driven off-site parties before, during and after festival hours remain largely unannounced... unless, of course, you've gotten the invite. On the other hand, everyone is invited to the festival itself: tickets are on-sale now and include a layaway option for the neither rich nor famous.
It had been widely speculated that Duran Duran, Arcade Fire and the Strokes would headline this year's event, and indeed all three are on the bill -- but, interestingly, they have some competition for "headlining" status from the likes of Kings of Leon and (drum roll please) Kanye West. Other marquee acts joining them are PJ Harvey, Interpol, the Black Keys, Bright Eyes, Elbow, Mumford & Sons, Robyn, Cee Lo Green, the Chemical Brothers, Animal Collective, the Kills and the National. And in the "OMG" slot, sure to raise both eyebrows and heartbeats: a Death From Above 1979 reunion. Yes, really.
