Jackie Kennedy is renowned across the globe as the wife of a US president who was brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances and his case remains a mystery throughout the world. She later on married a shipping magnate of Greece,  Aristotle Onassis and spent the last years of her life in Greece working as a book editor. She was born on July 28, in the year 1929 in Southampton, New York. She attended the Chapin school in New York and from the very early age, she became an equestrienne.

This was her life long hobby and she got many different horses from many different parts of the world. John Kennedy and Jackie Bouvier belonged to same social circle and were introduced when invited to a party by mutual friends. The two soon started dating and announced their engagement on  June 25, in the year 1953.

The couple had four children together, only two of whom survived till adulthood. When in January 1960, Kennedy announced his candidacy for the role as the President of the United States of America, she had initially intended on participating in every step of the campaign process but her plans got cancelled when soon after the announcement she realized that she was expecting.

Because she has already had a miscarriage and a still birth, the doctor adviced her to take it slow and relax. Her participation in the campaign was therefore limited to answering letters and recording commercials, all the activities that could be easily completed at home. She was a very successful first lady and performed her duties well.

After the assasination of her husband and brother in law, she started fearing her life in the United States and that of her children. She therefore married Aristotle Onasis and moved to Greece where she spent the remaining years of her life.
