Actress Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis is among the most renowned actresses of today, and has performed in tremendously many films over the years. She was born on the twenty second of November in  the year 1958, in Santa Monica, California. Both her parents, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh were renowned actors of their time and being on sets during her childhood was the reason for her joining this industry.

She made her debut in the year 1978 in a horror flick by the name Halloween. The film was a major hit and  was the greatest grossing film of its time. Over the years she managed to get many different roles in many different films and she has portrayed a wide range of characters through out her life.

She made her debut on television with a comedy sitcom, Anything but love. The show ran for four seasons from 1989 to 1992 and was a hit television show. For her role as Hannah Miller on the show, she not only got a golden globe but also a nomination for people’s choice award.After that, she has made recurrent appearances on different television shows over the years.

She is not only an actress but also a very successful author of children’s books. She has written many famous books including When I Was Little: A Four-Year Old’s Memoir of Her Youth, Tell Me Again About The Night I was Born,Today I Feel Silly, and Other Moods That Make My Day, Where Do Balloons Go?: An Uplifting Mystery, I’m Gonna Like Me: Letting Off a Little Self-Esteem, It’s Hard to Be Five: Learning How to Work My Control Panel, Is There Really a Human Race?, Big Words for Little People, My Friend Jay, and My Mommy Hung the Moon: A Love Story. She started her career in the year 1993 and today is among the top children’s authors.
