#That “Access Hollywood” honey Maria Menounos and her BF, indie flick director Kevin Undergaro, took in yesterday’s Patriots’ 38-7 win over the Dolphins as guests of the Meffa homegal’s fave QB/QT, Tom Brady, and his bride, Gisele Bundchen. Maria and Kev sat in Gi’s suite, and M tweeted later that Mrs. 12 “knows her football.” Rah, rah, rah . . .
# That “Polar Express” author Chris Van Allsburg and his wife, Lisa, bought themselves a nice little Christmas gift: a $3.63 million manse in Beverly! The historic 1883 estate has four bedrooms and five baths in 12,400 square feet. Van Allsburg’s Christmas tale was made into a film starring Tom Hanks. Another of his books, “Jumanji,” was also adapted for the big screen and starred Robin Williams.
# That country crooner Cooper Boone, a longtime fixture in Boston clubs, is a finalist in the “Good Morning America” Advice Guru search. More than 15,000 know-it-alls applied for the gig and Cooper has made it to the Top 20. Go to abcnews.com/gma to throw him a vote. Because if he wins, Cooper says he’s buying everyone a round at Bill’s Bar . . .
# That Metropolitan Pictures and Allston funnyguy Rob Potylo just launched a new made-in-Boston comedy-reality show on MYTV New England. “Quiet Desperation,” filmed in and around the city, follows a group of local musicians, artists and comics trying to make it in the entertainment biz. Check it out at 11 p.m. Fridays on MYTV.
# That ex-“King of Queens” Kevin James, who made “Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” “The Zookeeper” and “Grown Ups” in Massachusetts, is contemplating shooting a flick in Southie this April. Which would be the first big-budget flick to come to the Bay State since Anna Faris’ “What’s Your Number” wrapped last July.
# That former New England Patriots defensive lineman Jarvis Green, now with the Houston Oilers, is throwing himself a belated 32nd birthday bash at Zooma Restaurant in Providence on Jan. 21. The $50-a-head event is a benefit for the Jarvis Green Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
# That Boston funnyman Graig Murphy bested nine other comics — including the Hub’s own Jim Dunn — as the new co-host of Versus’ “The Beer 30 Show” at the finals in Dallas over the weekend. The show, co-hosted by RJ Choppy, is said to be a fusion of “The Man Show” and “Best Damn Sports Show Period.” The pilot episode will film at Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grille on Jan. 24 and will test air in March. Dunn, however, didn’t walk away empty-handed. He’s Sean Salisbury’s new sidekick for the revamped “Inside Sports UNLEASHED.” His show will shoot in March.
