According to the initial report, the actor was said to have had a terrible snowboarding accident that killed him. However, it is a complete lie!
The Global Associated News stated that Adam Sandler was in Zermatt, Switzerland. They even claimed that he was seen by witnesses and ran into a tree going very fast. Funnily enough the exact same death hoax was spread about Charlie Sheen just a few days ago! Neither have turned out to be true.
This type of gossip is not new and it is just irritating. Another celebrity who was said to have passed this weekend was Aretha Franklin. Her rumors however, may have just been a confusion about nicknames. Get more details on that mixup here.
As for this actor he is alive and well and working on his new movie ‘Jack and Jill.’ If you haven’t seen the picture of him cross dressing for the film, you can see it in the collection below. The 44 year old’s rep was contacted when the rumors spread, and denied them calling it “irresponsible journalism.” Other than someone just trying to cause drama, there is a possibility that someone on the actor’s team started the lie to get publicity for his new movie. Let’s hope not, as it’s not good playing with death!
