Jennifer Aniston’s Los Angeles home has finally beat the open market. The $42 million house is 10,000 square feet and covers up almost an acre of land in the hills above Sunset Boulevard. There are five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and other features contain a pool, game room, and a Japanese spa.

The manse was built in 1972 by mid-century advanced architect Hal Levitt. In 2006, Aniston had bought the home for $13.5 million and hired designer Stephen Shadley and spent the millions of dollars in overhauls. In Architectural Digest, Shadley reminds that the home was “in rough shape. We basically demolished the old one and reconstructed it.” According to Forbes, in additions it consist of smart house technology, a biometric security system for both her wine cellar and jewelry cabinet, and a “two-in-one kitchen” that hides a practiced cookery kitchen behind the main one.

Is Jennifer Aniston Adopting A Baby, Another day, another false story surrounding Jennifer Aniston. The rumor mill was working overtime yesterday with claims that the actress was adopting, but there is no truth to the reports, according to Gossip Cop.

Stories started popping up yesterday with reports that Aniston had visited an orphanage in Tijuana and decided to adopt a baby.

People.com said the film star made the remarks during a taping for Thursday's edition of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Asked by DeGeneres if she is going to adopt another dog, People.com said Aniston replied, "I think you're confusing that with the Mexican child I'm supposedly adopting."

"Oh, are you going to adopt a Mexican child?" DeGeneres inquired.

"No, I'm not adopting a Mexican child," the single actress answered, joking that Adam Sandler "adopted four last week and that never even got mentioned. No, I'm not adopting any children. ... And no doggies right now."

Aniston and Sandler co-star in the new big-screen comedy "Just Go With It."
